Abstract:
Four undescribed alkenoic acids, tritirachdioics A-D (1-4) and four previously described analogues (5-8), were isolated from the soft coral-derived fungus, Tritirachium sp. SCSIO 41037. The elucidation of their chemical structures was accomplished through a multi-faceted approach, including comprehensive spectroscopic data analyses, electron circular dichroism calculations, and the application of the J-based configuration analysis method. The structural assignments were further validated by comparison with data from the existing literature, ensuring the precision and authenticity of our findings. All compounds were subjected to comprehensive testing for antioxidant activity and acetylcholinesterase inhibitory activity, but unfortunately, none demonstrated significant activity.
