Generation and regulation of dichromatic stripe solitons complexes
Abstract:
Stripe solitons (SSs) in nonlinear systems are a novel type of soliton structure that exhibit unique characteristics of periodic modulation in both the frequency domain and time domain. In this work, we demonstrate the formation mechanism and control of SSs and their associated dichromatic soliton complexes (DSCs) in a hybrid mode-locked erbium-doped fiber laser. Furthermore, a spectral encoding scheme is proposed (e.g., 0/1/2 and dichromatic encodings) by using this dichromatic output, which can achieve up to 9 different combination patterns in a single laser source. This work provides insights into the regulation and encoding of polychromatic soliton structures in ultrafast fiber lasers. It presents potential application value in the fields of multi-physical coupling system design and all-optical information processing.
