Summary

The prefrontal cortex (PFC) differentially encodes reward value across its subregions during decision-making. Neural activity in the orbitofrontal cortex (OFC) and lateral prefrontal cortex (LPFC) predicts reward preferences, while other PFC areas track stimuli.
