Purpose of the Study:

  • To test if higher meat consumption positively impacts cognitive health in individuals with APOE34/44 genotypes compared to other APOE genotypes.
  • To explore the role of APOE4 in mediating the relationship between diet and cognitive function.

  • Longitudinal study of 1680 dementia-free adults aged 60+ with APOE genotyping and dietary data.
