A diet enriched with deuterated polyunsaturated fatty acids (D-PUFA) protected mice against lipopolysaccharide (LPS)-induced neuroinflammation and memory deficits. This suggests D-PUFA diets may be a promising nutritional strategy for mitigating cognitive decline.
