With increasing attrition, retention rates for prelicensure part-time clinical nursing faculty are declining, leading to vacancies and dissatisfaction among faculty. This article discusses a comprehensive, evidence-based orientation program that provides the necessary tools and support at a moment when employees are at their most receptive, thereby setting the foundation for long-term employment.
