Mesenchymal stem cell-derived extracellular vesicles (MSC-EVs) consistently modulate microglial responses in animal models of ischemic stroke (IS), reducing inflammation and promoting anti-inflammatory effects. These findings suggest MSC-EVs may aid recovery in IS and Alzheimer's disease (AD).
