Abstract:
In this work, a new hydrogen-bonded organic framework was synthesized from hexanedioic acid and trimesic acid with solvent evaporation method. It was used as a sorbent to separate some pesticides from different malt samples. To prove the successful synthesis of the sorbent, characterization was carried out using various techniques including Fourier transform infrared spectrometry, X-ray diffraction, scanning electron microscopy, and Brunauer-Emmett-Teller nitrogen sorption/desorption. Accepted extraction recoveries (40-95 %), high enrichment factors (192-476), low limits of detection and quantification (0.47-1.19 and 1.55-3,92 µg l-1, respectively), and wide linear ranges (5.00-1000 µg l-1) were the analytical features of this approach. The presence of oxadiazone and tebuconazole was verified in mapoyhoe sample. The concentrations of oxadizone and tebuconazole were obtained from gas chromatograph-flame ionization detector data and they were 10 ± 0.1 and 12 ± 0.1 µg l-1 (n = 3), respectively. Simple, cost-effective, and environmentally friendly were the key features of the developed method.
