Background:

Over the past 25 years, the landscape of Alzheimer's disease (AD) research and advocacy has transformed from fragmented, siloed organizations to a more interconnected network.
Early prominent organizations in the U.S. and Europe focused heavily on research, policy, and advocacy, operating with limited cross-organizational collaboration.
The emergence of super-aging societies, like Japan, has also spurred the development of policy-focused think tanks addressing global health challenges.

Purpose of the Study:

To provide an overview of the evolution of consortia and collaborative initiatives in the Alzheimer's research and advocacy space over the last quarter century.
