Resistance to tyrosine kinase inhibitors (TKIs) in chronic myeloid leukemia (CML) is often caused by BCR::ABL1 gene mutations. Personalized therapy based on mutation status, utilizing newer TKIs like ponatinib and asciminib, is crucial for effective CML treatment.
