Abstract:
This study aims to investigate the prototypes and metabolites of the main components of Tongfeng Qingli Mixture(TFQLM) in normal and hyperuricemia(HUA) rats and explore the effects of HUA on the metabolism of the main components of TFQLM in rats. Ultra-high performance liquid chromatography-quadrupole-time-of-flight tandem mass spectrometry(UPLC-Q-TOF-MS/MS), together with PeakView 1.2 and Molecule Profiler 1.3, was employed to analyze the prototype components and metabolites in the plasma, urine, feces, and bile of the rat model of HUA induced by hypoxanthine combined with potassium oxazinate and the normal rats. A total of 13, 22, 8, and 35 prototype components and metabolites were identified in the plasma, urine, feces, and bile of normal rats, while 14, 7, 46, and 77 prototype components and metabolites in model rats, respectively. Compared with normal rats, the model rats showed diverse prototype components and metabolites in feces and bile and significantly reduced number of metabolites excreted by urine, which suggested that the disease state of HUA may affect the metabolic pathways of the main components of TFQLM in vivo.
