Abstract:
Total hip arthroplasty (THA) is a well-established and highly effective treatment option for advanced coxarthrosis, characterized by high patient satisfaction, long implant survival, and low revision rates. However, dislocation remains one of the most common early complications. To reduce this risk, consideration of spinopelvic dynamics within robotic-assisted procedures is gaining increasing importance for preoperative planning and accurate component positioning. Recent studies demonstrate the clear advantages of these technologies, particularly in achieving precise implant placement. This includes the simulation of range of motion with potential impingement and the assessment of changes in cup orientation across different functional positions, such as standing, sitting, and walking, resulting in a significant reduction in dislocation rates even in complex cases.
