Dynamic contrast-enhanced MRI (DCE-MRI) significantly improves detection of soft-tissue sarcoma local recurrence when added to conventional MRI. This advanced imaging technique offers high sensitivity and specificity in distinguishing recurrence from post-treatment changes.
