Missed Wooden Perineum Foreign Body Leading to Extensive Necrotizing Soft Tissue Infection: A Case Report

Penetrating perineal trauma with retained wooden foreign bodies can lead to severe necrotizing soft tissue infection (NSTI). Prompt surgical debridement and removal of all foreign material are critical for patient survival.
