Dynamont: A comprehensive cross-species comparison of ONT segmentation tools

We evaluated five Oxford Nanopore Technologies (ONT) signal segmentation tools, including our new tool Dynamont. Dynamont shows strong performance on RNA data, but no single tool excels across all DNA and RNA datasets, highlighting the need for careful metric selection.
