Overview
Three main types of RNA are involved in protein synthesis: messenger RNA (mRNA), transfer RNA (tRNA), and ribosomal RNA (rRNA). These RNAs perform diverse functions and can be broadly classified as protein-coding or non-coding RNA. Non-coding RNAs play important roles in the regulation of gene expression in response to developmental and environmental changes.     • Faculty adapted traditional 16-week courses into condensed 8-week blocks based on student feedback.

    Purpose of the Study:

    • To evaluate student performance and satisfaction in condensed 8-week nursing courses.
    • To assess the effectiveness of a modified course delivery model for RN-to-baccalaureate students.

    Main Methods:

    • Online surveys and review of academic records (grades, withdrawals, incompletes) were used.
    • Free-text survey responses underwent manual content analysis and natural language processing (NLP).
    • Within-methods data triangulation, including the Goodwin statistic, was applied for analysis.

    Main Results:

    • Students reported enhanced focus and higher satisfaction levels.
    • Natural language processing indicated below-average fatigue among students.
    • No significant differences were observed in student grades, withdrawals, or incompletes compared to traditional formats.
