None:
A stepwise reaction between [Ge9Hyp3]- and CuI/K(C5Me5) yielded the {Ge9Hyp3} hybridized double-decker sandwich cluster [{Cu(C5Me5)}2(η3:η3-Ge9Hyp3)]- (2) via [Cu(C5Me5)(η3-Ge9Hyp3)]- (1) as an intermediate. The controllable coordination of {Cu(C5Me5)} on the tri-silylated Ge9 cluster in this work contributes to the rational design and synthesis, and eventually the application of silylated Ge9 based catalysts.

Equations of Motion: Rectangular Coordinates and Cylindrical Coordinates
When a particle moves relative to an inertial frame, the equations of motion can be expressed using rectangular components. If the motion is confined to the x-y plane, the equations having the x and y coordinates only can be used to simplify the mathematical representation.
However, when particles...
