Adamantinoid basal cell carcinoma (adamantinoid BCC) is a rare variant of BCC that histologically resembles adamantinoid trichoblastoma under the microscope but can be distinguished by dermoscopic features. Although wide surgical margins have traditionally been recommended for adamantinoid BCC, narrower excision may be sufficient when the tumor border is clearly defined.
