No Association Between Autism Spectrum Disorder and Mitochondrial DNA Variants: A Comprehensive Genetic Study in

Mitochondrial DNA (mtDNA) variations were not found to be associated with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) in a Turkish paediatric cohort. Further research with larger sample sizes is needed to fully understand the complex genetic factors in ASD.
