Abstract:
Is recognizing family caregivers important for meeting their needs? This question arose from our participation in the 2025 summer school on organizational ethics, which focused on family caregiving. The summer school was organized by the Institute of Applied Ethics at Laval University and was held from August 26 to 28, 2025, in Quebec City, Canada. This article presents the main lessons learned from this event, reviewing the content presented by experts, CARs, and stakeholders in order to discuss the issues surrounding the recognition and support of CARs.
