Personalized labeling: A strategy for supporting self-medicating patients' decision-making during selection and use

Personalized labeling, using augmented reality, significantly improves consumer decisions on over-the-counter (OTC) medication appropriateness. Educated users showed faster and more accurate choices with personalized labels compared to standard Drug Facts Labels (DFLs).
