Clinical performance of BioCoat™ and Fissurit FX: a randomized 18-month split-mouth study

This study compared bioactive pit and fissure sealants (BioCoat™) with conventional sealants (Fissurit FX) in children over 18 months. Both sealant types demonstrated similar effectiveness in preventing caries, with no significant differences in retention or secondary caries.
