Abstract:
Stroke is the leading cause of disability in adults. Current research aims to enhance functional recovery and improve patients' quality of life at all stages of care. New molecules and therapies are being studied to promote neuroprotection and neural plasticity. Robotics, exoskeletons, and therapeutic video games offer hope for optimizing rehabilitation and independence at home.
