Abstract:
Glyphosate, a known carcinogen, is widely used in crop cultivation, posing a significant threat to human health. This necessitates the development of sensitive and rapid detection methods. In this study, we report the construction and application of a novel fluorescent probe, 2-(4-(bis(pyridin-2-ylmethyl)amino)phenyl)dithieno[3,2-b:2',3'-d]thiophene 4,4-dioxide (DPAP-DTTO), based on Cu2+ competitive coordination interactions for the intelligent detection of glyphosate residues in vegetables. The probe exhibits competitive coordination with glyphosate in the presence of Cu2+, leading to a pronounced linear relationship between DPAP-DTTO's fluorescence intensity and glyphosate concentration. By employing a smartphone application to analyze the R/B value of the probe solution, we further establish a strong linear correlation with glyphosate concentration. This integrated approach offers a feasible method for rapid and intelligent determination of glyphosate, thereby enhancing food safety monitoring and ensuring dietary safety.
