Abstract:
Efficient PEMWE requires OER catalysts with high activity and stability. By tuning the RuO2 lattice constants via Gd doping, Ru-O covalency is optimized. Gd0.08Ru0.92O2 shows low overpotential, excellent durability, suppressed LOM pathways, and mitigated Ru dissolution, enabling robust high-performance water electrolysis.
