Conclusions:

  • Enhanced transfusion medicine knowledge correlates positively with improved clinical transfusion practices.
  • The findings underscore the critical need for structured transfusion medicine training programs in Ethiopia.
  • Implementing targeted educational interventions can optimize blood utilization and patient safety.
