Abstract:
A series of organic ligand-stabilized nickel boron-oxo clusters were synthesized, demonstrating in situ evolution from simple organoboronic acids to complex structural motifs. Among them, the quinoline-pyrazole-protected boron-oxygen cluster Ni(II)2[B3O3(OH)2Qi(Pz)2]2 (BOC-22) exhibits excellent performance in the photocatalytic CO2 reduction reaction with CO and CH4 as the main carbonaceous products.
