Abstract:
This special feature issue captures the shifting trend of sensing technology across the infrared (IR), terahertz (THz) and gigahertz (GHz) range of frequencies with a selection of a few invited reviews, research articles and contributory original research that collectively highlight the innovations brought about by combination of artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) algorithms in component-level design to data analytics to image reconstruction to spectroscopic identification.
