Characterisation of the Novel HLA-B*40:618 Allele by Sequencing-Based Typing

A novel Human Leukocyte Antigen B (HLA-B) allele, HLA-B*40:618, has been identified. This new allele is distinguished from HLA-B*40:02:01:01 by a single nucleotide substitution.
