Case:
We report two cases of young Hispanic males with posterior acetabular fractures sustained during low-energy basketball injuries, a mechanism rarely described in the literature. Both patients underwent open reduction and internal fixation within 24 h of admission. Detailed evaluations, surgical procedures, and follow-up outcomes are provided.
Conclusion:
These cases highlight an unusual presentation of acetabular fractures in young males from low-energy sports injuries. The findings emphasize the need for further research into the mechanisms, management, and natural history of low-energy acetabular fractures in young patients.
