Summary

Sarcomatoid dedifferentiation significantly increases cancer-specific mortality in both clear cell (ccRCC) and non-clear cell renal cell carcinoma (nccRCC). This aggressive feature has a more pronounced detrimental effect on survival in nccRCC compared to ccRCC.
