Palatopharyngeal surgery without tonsillectomy significantly reduces daytime sleepiness and snoring intensity in patients with obstructive sleep apnea (OSA). Specific techniques like suture palatopharyngoplasty and muscle relocation show the most promising results for improving patient-reported outcomes.
