Abstract:
Tuberculosis (TB) remains a major global public health threat and continues to be one of the leading causes of death from infectious diseases worldwide. Achieving the 2030 goal of"Ending TB"depends critically on the early and precise diagnosis of TB. In recent years, multiple imaging techniques-including digital radiography (DR), computed tomography (CT), magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), 18F-fluorodeoxyglucose positron emission tomography/computed tomography (18F-FDG PET/CT), and artificial intelligence (AI)-have been successfully applied to the early diagnosis of TB. This paper summarizes relevant literature on tuberculosis imaging diagnosis published domestically and internationally from October 2024 to September 2025, with the aim of providing evidence to support early and precise diagnosis of tuberculosis.
