Proper delineation of the mesenteric arterial vascular anatomy is crucial for pre-procedure planning. The abdominal aorta gives rise to three major mesenteric arteries: the celiac artery, the superior mesenteric artery, and inferior mesenteric artery. In this review, we highlight the normal mesenteric arterial supply, along with commonly encountered anatomical variants, which have important implications for both surgical and endovascular interventional procedures.
