[Activity workshops for the over-60s and a café for caregivers: two meaningful initiatives]
1Association d'aide aux personnes à domicile, 25 rue Hyacinthe-Faure, 87060 Limoges cedex, France.
Abstract:
In Haute-Vienne, the Association d'aide aux personnes à domicile (Association for Home Care) carries out actions to prevent loss of independence among seniors aged 60 and over, as well as their caregivers, through weekly workshops organized throughout the region and a caregivers' café located in Limoges. These initiatives aim to combat isolation, maintain social ties, and promote healthy aging. They are supported by the Departmental Council, but depend on long-term funding to develop.
