Abstract:
Isolated abdominal-wall recurrence in the drainage tube site after surgery for colorectal cancer is extremely rare. We describe contrast-enhanced CT and FDG PET/CT findings in a case of isolated abdominal-wall metastasis in the drainage tube site after laparotomy surgery for rectal cancer. The abdominal-wall metastasis showed focal hyperenhancement on contrast-enhanced CT and increased activity on FDG PET/CT.
