The Hugo™ RAS system demonstrates feasibility and safety for robotic liver resection (RLR) in minor hepatectomies. This initial clinical experience shows promising outcomes for colorectal liver metastases (CRLM) treatment.

Main Results:

  • Three patients underwent minor hepatectomies, all completed robotically without conversion.
  • Median operative time was 210 minutes, with minimal blood loss (50 mL).
  • No intraoperative complications, short hospital stay (median 4 days), and no postoperative complications or readmissions at 90-day follow-up. All specimens achieved R0 margins.

Conclusions:
