Abstract:
We demonstrated control over the degree of functionalization and near-infrared photoluminescence efficiency of single-walled carbon nanotubes through temperature-controlled reductive alkylation. The emission efficiency considerably increased at an optimal temperature, as evidenced by absolute quantum yield measurements using an integrating sphere.
