Summary
This study introduces a novel technique for Bachmann bundle area pacing (BBp) using a modified ventricular catheter. Customized sheaths enabled stable lead placement for successful BBp with excellent electrical parameters.
Area of Science:
- Cardiology
- Electrophysiology
- Medical Device Innovation
Background:
- Bachmann bundle area pacing (BBp) traditionally uses lumenless leads via specialized atrial sheaths.
- Achieving stable positioning of stylet-driven leads at the superior interatrial septum presents technical difficulties.
