Abstract:
Developmental processes define the parameters of neural circuits and restrict the range of possible behaviors. Here, we briefly highlight how the developmental perspective can enrich our understanding of behavior, illustrating with select examples the value of integrating developmental and behavioral analyses in neuroscience.
