Abstract:
This article presents a digitally guided veneer preparation workflow based on virtual reduction planning and 3-dimensional (3D) printing. Labial contours derived from diagnostic waxing were incorporated into the sliding-rail guide that constrains the path and depth of the rotary instrument. This workflow facilitated minimally invasive preparation, particularly beneficial in complex situations such as tetracycline-stained teeth with thin enamel, while remaining accessible for routine clinical use.
