Summary

A novel multiplex one-tube nested real-time polymerase chain reaction (mOTN-PCR) integrated with point-of-care testing (POCT) offers rapid, sensitive detection of key bacterial pathogens in cerebrospinal fluid (CSF). This automated workflow significantly reduces testing time and improves diagnostic accuracy for meningitis.
