Abstract:
Quinolones are widely used as antibiotics, with 6-fluoroquinolones representing a particularly prominent class. In this work, we present an iridium-catalyzed C-H borylation strategy for unprotected NH 6-fluoroquinolones, achieving good yields and enabling efficient functionalization at the critical 7-position.
