The want for Wnt: Pancreatic cancer assembles a self-sustaining Wnt-signaling ecosystem

Abstract:
In this issue of Developmental Cell, Torborg et al. identify cooperative Wnt signaling between pancreatic cancer cells that is heterogeneous, spatially organized, and required for tumor growth. These results have important implications for our understanding of pancreatic cancer vulnerabilities as well as future treatment approaches targeting the Wnt pathway.
