Background:

Pharmacy First (PF) initiative launched in England in 2024 to alleviate primary care demand.
PF enables treatment for seven common ailments in community pharmacies.

To investigate General Practitioners' (GPs) perspectives on the implementation of Pharmacy First (PF) in England.

Qualitative study design utilizing semi-structured interviews.
Purposive sampling of GPs across six NHS regions in England.
