Abstract:
Mirror therapy is a non-pharmacological, accessible, and inexpensive technique used to manage phantom limb pain and body image disturbances following amputation. This treatment relies on consistent visual stimulation to reduce the sensorimotor mismatch responsible for some neuropathic pain.
