None:
A new Co(II) based MOF (PZH-10) with abundant uncoordinated carboxyl groups was successfully synthesized, capturing Fe(III). The modified PZH-10 generates Fe0.92Co0.08S via sulfurization. The bimetallic sulfide exhibited good bifunctional OER and ORR catalytic activities. For example, the Tafel slope of Fe0.92Co0.08S is 66.08 mV dec-1 for OER, which is better than the noble benchmark of RuO2 (83.4 mV dec-1). Moreover, Fe0.92Co0.08S was successfully assembled into a zinc-air battery, which showed a higher discharge voltage (1.101 V) and a lower charging voltage (2.101 V).

Spontaneous redox reactions occur abundantly in nature. The chemical reaction occurring in a disposable AA battery powering our remote controls is one such example of a spontaneous redox reaction. Another example is the immersion of coiled copper wire into an aqueous silver nitrate solution. The reaction shows a gradual, visually impressive color change from colorless to bright blue and the formation of a grey precipitate on the copper wire. In this experiment,...
