Sodium-ion batteries have limited energy density. Anode-free sodium metal batteries (AFSMBs) maximize it but face dendrites and Na loss. We develop multicomponent alloy/CNT current collectors (MA-Snx) with tuned Sn to balance sodiophilicity and volume change, enabling 2500 h symmetric cycling and durable AFSMB full cells.
