Cardiac magnetic resonance (CMR) offers the best standalone accuracy for detecting malignant cardiac masses. Adding 18F-fluorodeoxyglucose (18F-FDG) positron emission tomography (PET) improves diagnosis in unclear cases, with CCT-PET as a viable alternative.
