Summary

Oncolytic herpes simplex virus (oHSV) therapy shows promise in reprogramming the immunosuppressive tumor microenvironment of glioblastoma (GBM). While promoting anti-tumor immunity, oHSV also triggers counter-regulatory mechanisms requiring further clinical investigation.
